Sid's been taking photos ...

Lifta High School. Sid was the principal at the original location back in 1972.


Construction and rehabbing are going on everywhere. City code ensures the preservation and architectural integrity of historic buildings.



      Finished project will look something like this. Both buildings located in Machane Yehuda neighborhood.

Everyone loves Machane Yehuda.

  1. Not to put too fine a point on it but the photo described as gas meters is actually water meters. They are private water meters for different apartments which have hooked up to the water company on their own (a cost each had to bear separately) versus sharing in common water for the whole building.
    So happy to see you're giving the blog your full attention.
